    More pros than cons, but still.

    The fine views of Lake Pichola from the room were amazing . The service by our butler, especially from Harsh, was unparalleled and attentive.

    The check-in process was annoyingly slow, leaving us waiting for nearly an hour without proper communication. The dining experience was also impacted by a wedding event, affecting the overall service quality .

    Clean place with city palace views and supporting staff. Beautiful outstanding rooms, best bathroom, delicious breakfast. The beds exceptionally comfortable. Helpful service throughout our stay. What a fabulous stay, no complaint.

    Leela Palace Udaipur has been the best hotel that I have ever stayed, having travelled reasonably well worldwide. The architect, the reception on the lake via the boat, the reception at the hotel jetty, the reception at the hotel with live Rajastani music and finally just before entering the portals of this wonderful edifice, the manager with 2 lovely sari clad hostesses would apply the mark on the forehead(reserved normally for distinguished guests or celebrities) and a final click of a welcoming photograph. Guests are whisked directly to the room and the check-in was concluded in the privacy of your room. Personal butler allocated. Such training of staff, fron cleaners to management was breath taking. The courtyard, garden layout, the pools and the guava orchard was a dream. My brother, my wife and I believe that we tasted "heaven".

    1.One can gain access to the hotel via the lake or by car. The route taken by is not very easily accessible. When one eventually reaches the entrance to the hotel golf carts are provided to reach reception. 2. The breakfast served was very very sparse and extremely expensive. The cost of accommodation does not include breakfast. When one considers the rates paid for this hotel, management needs to seriously reconsider this aspect.

    Rooms with balcony and lake view are very spacious and comfortable. Our own butler service which reads every wish from the eyes.
